Fines totaling $48,000 have been proposed after inspectors found alleged repeat and serious safety violations. The repeat citations allege that scaffolds lacked guardrails, weren’t fully planked, did not have toe boards installed and contained an area underneath that was not barricaded. The other repeat citations allege that employees did not have safe access to scaffolding, did not wear protective headgear and hadn’t been trained to recognize hazards associated with scaffolds.
