Responding to a complaint, OSHA inspected a metal hose manufacturing company and cited 29 serious safety violations, 10 serious health violations and several other-than-serious violations. Serious safety violations alleged by OSHA include fall hazards, tripping hazards, electrical hazards, missing machine guards, operation of forklifts by untrained workers, problems with an overhead crane, no flashback protection for welding equipment and unsafe storage of oxygen and acetylene cylinders.
