This section addresses eye/face protection (PPE) when working in potentially hazardous situations. OSHA requires that employers assess the hazards faced by their employees in order to determine the appropriate eye and face protection for the job. It is the employer’s responsibility to pay for most Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), though there are few exceptions.
