OSHA says an inspection revealed that employees of a Georgia manufacturing company were being exposed to fire, electrical and tripping hazards. The inspection brought citations alleging hazards involving material handling, machine guarding, lockout/tagout and forklift operations. Alleged health violations include hearing conservation issues, storage of flammable materials, PPE and hazard communication program deficiencies. Penalties totaling $137,000 are being proposed.
