The image shows an educator spraying disinfectant directly onto a table while children are seated nearby.
What’s wrong is not the intention to clean, but the exposure risk. Aerosolized chemicals and wet surfaces near children increase inhalation and contact hazards.
What should be avoided is cleaning in occupied spaces. The behaviour to model is removing children first, applying product to a cloth, ventilating the area, and allowing surfaces to dry fully before use.
